How Our Part-Trained Course Works

With our part-trained course, we make the best of the skills you have already developed and use them as a springboard to your driving test. We do not believe in making you relearn things you already know or wasting your time on lessons that do not move you forward. Instead, we assess where you are right now and build from there. Here is how it works. When you phone us, please make sure to give us as much detail as you can about your driving experience. Think about roughly how many hours you have done, when your last lesson was, the things you can do confidently, the things you struggled with, and why you want to try a new driving school. The more we know before your first lesson, the better we can prepare for you.

All of this information is going to help us help you on your first lesson. The pressure is always “off” when learning to drive with Hero. On your first lesson with us, all we want you to do is demonstrate what you can already do – nothing more, nothing less. There is no expectation for you to be perfect, and there is no judgment about what you have not yet mastered. We simply watch, listen, and learn about you as a driver. Then, from there, we will help you build your skills step by step, focusing only on what you actually need.
