My name is Mas and I have lived in Colchester majority of my life. I have been a qualified ADI instructor since 2013, prior to this I used to work in the financial sector.
Why I became a driving instructor.
Overall, I left that industry to work on teaching as I have always had an interest in cars and driving and believed I could pass this knowledge on. I started Hero Driving School a year after I qualified in 2014. My students were always impressed in my style of teaching. They stated that I have a very relaxed demeanour and I make them feel comfortable during their lessons. I believe my teaching style is very effective hence why I started Hero Driving School as I believe I am able to bring this tried and proven method and have it be delivered by my professional and hardworking colleagues.

My name is Mark, ever since I learnt to drive I have always had an interest to improve my driving. I passed my Institute of Advanced Motorists exam at just 19 years old. I joined the Metropolitan police at 23 where I qualified as a Class 1 advanced pursuit driver by the age of 29 in 1992.
I strived to complete other courses, including armoured land rover, towing, off road and police driving assessor City and Guilds in 1995. I retired from police in January 2016 and qualified as a driving instructor in July. By February 2017, I qualified as an Education and Training teacher, where I deliver speed awareness courses for Essex County Council since July. I have also been a Bikeability trainer for children, for Essex Council since 2009. Finally my most recent achievement is the Royal society for prevention of accidents Gold Standard advanced driving qualification which I have completed in April 2018. I believe with all my qualifications it is apparent that I have a passion for teaching driving in a safe, competent and practical manner.

Hi everyone my name is Martin.
My driving experience started at about the age of 9 on tractors and I had gained lots of practice driving different vehicles on the family farm long before I got my first license on the day of my 16th birthday. I had my first motorbike ready to go that morning, ( no L plates or any other safety measures required in rural Ireland back then, I would have a serious talk with my 16 year old self now). I have always had a passion for older vehicles and I have a few classic cars and bikes now that I get great pleasure from both driving and restoring. I have been in construction most of my life before taking the step towards becoming a Driving Instructor which I love. Having taught my own children to drive and lived to tell the tale,
I really look forward to developing driving skills and sharing my experience amongst the next generation of drivers.

I am a driving instructor in Colchester. I have lived in Colchester all my life and have worked in and around the Colchester area over the years ( I know my way around these roads!).
In my previous life before driving, I have worked in retail in various roles including management and cash office. I have also worked in admin and the post office so have a wide range of experience. I have spent a lot of time training colleagues which I enjoy and coaching people to help them reach their full potential and to help them to develop. These were all transferable skills which I have now applied to my life as a driving instructor.
