We have a tried and tested syllabus in place to ensure that our students have all the skills they need to be safe and responsible on the roads. These include; a detailed practical syllabus, hazard and theory preparation like no other, with tests and guidelines to ensure a successful pass and finally our HERO’s themselves with their wealth of knowledge.
Currently the DVSA first time pass rate for the Colchester test centre for males is 35.6 and 29.4 for females resulting in a joint pass rate of 65%. We have kept our pass rate well above the market average year on year, this is due to the fact that we cater our lessons to the students strengths and weaknesses ensuring everything is covered appropriately without unnecessary overlap.

Manual Driving Lessons
If you want to ensure you can drive any car (manual or automatic) then you’ll need to learn how to drive a manual. It’s a fantastic thing to do as you’ll learn all about the different gears and how they can be used to aid your control of the car, it’s speed and your safety.
Automatic Driving Lessons
If you don’t want to worry about having to put the clutch down and change your gears, then automatic is for you. In an automatic, you just need D for driving, P for parking and R for Reverse, however you’ll still need to learn the rules of the road! But don’t worry, I’ve got a suitable car and together we’ll get you on the road in no time!
Intensive Courses:
We also have intensive courses for those itching to hit the road. This does not mean things will be skipped we still cover everything that will ensure a safe driver just the process is quicker, we specialise in the catering of these courses in respect to the student, which is done through our proven assessment lesson enabling us to create a structured programme; detailing the amount of lessons required, main strengths and weaknesses – avoid teaching things that you are proficient at and highlighting the weaknesses to allow more focus to be emphasised on them, (These courses are either full or semi intensive depending on your routine & urgency).
