Manual Driving School –
Manual drivers in Pebmarsh are able to drive a car, which involved using the clutch more regularly than automatic. Learning the manual method allows learners to understand the different gears and what they implement as well as aid the control of the car via adjusting your speed with the different gears. Usually the clutch involves 5 gears in which each gear constitutes to increasing to a particular speed, higher gears are usually used in motorway driving where as lower gears are used for inner town or country roads.
Intensive Driving School –
HERO driving school also include intensive course this is where there is a need to pass shorter time period than an average learner. Within a space of a week, learners will be able to learn from how to move a car successfully without stalling to fully being able to drive a car along busy motorways and carrying out tough manoeuvres. However, HEROS insists that the intensive course may not be for everyone as all learners learn at different rates therefore if our instructors feel as if you are not ready within a week then it will be advised that going for a test would not be beneficial.
What we advise…
Now for every 4 hours of training when doing hourly lessons we reckon you lose 1 hour, because in the lesson from the previous week you tend to forget what you did and therefore need a recap. It’s no different to when you were at school, everyone had one subject consisting of one hour a week, and it took you 15 to 20 minutes to recap and go over what you learned from the week before. Therefore taking a 1 hour lesson may really be a 40 minute lesson of actually learning something new… So what we advise is to take double lessons, which is a 2 hour lesson every 3 or 4 days. You will learn more quickly, but overall you will need far fewer lessons. We reckon it can save you as many as 12 hours. Oh, and you will not need private practice as this is a real money waster!
Changes in Driving Test
HEROS are aware of the changes in the driving test starting from 4th of December. This includes the use of a sat nav as well as increasing the independent driving part of the test to 20 minutes. HEROS have already started to implement these changes within the lessons itself by including the use of a sat nav and getting learners carry out independent driving themselves within mock tests.
